Flora Rosalie (Scott) Mccabe

Flora Rosalie (Scott) McCabe, 79 of Ashville, OH went to her eternal home on Monday, May 8, 2023.  Rosalie was born on March 22, 1944 in Elkins, WV to William Henry Scott and Floria Macel Freeman Scott.  She was a 1962 graduate of Philippi High School and attended cosmetology school.  She worked for 9 years for Western Electric.  She faithfully attended the Ashville Church of Christ in Christian Union since 1975 the year that she put her trust in Jesus Christ as her Savior.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and listening to gospel music.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law Myrna Gene and Keith D. Hall; sister-in-law Hattie Scott.

She is survived by her husband John H. McCabe; brother Wendell Brent Scott of WV; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.  Funeral Service will be held at Ashville CCCU at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 11th with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating.  Interment will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ashville CCCU.
