Floyd N. White Jr.

Floyd N. White Jr., age 83, of Circleville, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus. He was born February 5, 1943, in New Orleans, LA to Floyd and Mildred White Sr. After high school, he served in the Army in Vietnam. Following his military service, he attended and graduated from Ohio University. His career was spent as a Park Ranger with the State of Ohio, serving in Tar Hollow, Scioto Trails, and Rocky Fork. After retiring from the Parks, he served as a Court Bailiff in Chillicothe for 15 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Young, of FL, and Anna (Ryan Thurston) White, of Circleville; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patricia White.

A celebration of life, including military honors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with Pastor Mike Borland officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
