Freddie Jervis, age 60 of Ashville, Ohio passed away Thurs. Aug. 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 13, 1954 at Prestonsburg, KY, son of the late Andrew Jackson and Josephine (Hatfield) Jervis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Jervis; brothers, Bobby, Buddy and Jeffrey Jervis. He was married to Nancy Fausnaugh Willoughby on Aug. 1, 1991 who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Maynard, Chillicothe; son, Tim (Katie) Willoughby, Circleville; grandchildren, Breanna, Austin, Noah, and Christian Maynard, Devin and Cooper Willoughby; sisters, Lou Jane Hunter, Mansfield, Roberta (Kelly) Burchett, Rosetta (Tony) Ward, Mary Ann (Glen) Burchett all of Floyd Co. KY, and Maggie Damron, Pike Co. KY; brothers, Johnny Lee Jervis, Pike Co. KY, and Stanley Ray (Misty) Jervis, Floyd Co. KY; nephew, Andrew Robert Jervis and great nephew Skyler Ray Jervis; aunts and uncle, Jake and Marie Jarvis, Pontiac, MI and Dolly Blevins, Pike Co. KY; numerous other nieces and nephews; close friends, Haven and Carol Ensley of Morganton, NC. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday Aug. 31, 2014 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wed. Sept. 3, 2014 at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, 7 Clinic Drive, Martin, KY were friends may call after 5 pm Tues. Sept. 2, 2014. Burial will be in the Jervis Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
