Gregory A Runkle

Gregory A. Runkle, 68 of Columbus, OH passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  He was born on February 14, 1957 in Columbus to the late Ralph E. and Janice L. (Freyermuth) Runkle.  He worked for many years in maintenance for a number of apartment complexes around the area.  He loved reading his Bible and watching the Big Bang Theory.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Gregory Runkle II; sister and brother-in-law Penny and Dave Brown; step mother Patricia Runkle.

Survived by his son Jerred (Angel) Runkle; 2 grandchildren Kaden and Kalaya (their mother Kendall); brother R. Michael (Cindy) Runkle; sisters Christina (Sean) Cochran and Lea Ann Banks; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 1:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with Rev. Ty Myers officiating.  Interment will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery.  Online condolences to olivercheekfuneralhome.com
