Jack E. McGill Jr., age 53, of Lockbourne, passed away on June 30, 2016 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center. He was born on July 27, 1962 in Smyrna, TN, the son of Jack E. and Andra L. (Slater) McGill. He is survived by his parents, sons, Justin McGill of South Bloomfield and Seth Neal of Lockbourne; brother, John McGill of Ashville; sisters Pam (Mike) Johnsen of Ashville and Barbara (Jeff) Reindl of Grove City; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Andrew, Zachary, Cody and Carissa. He was a 1980 graduate of Teays Valley and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Ashville. He was a diesel mechanic for Brewster Motor Express and had also previously worked for Local Waste, Rumpke and Rush Trucking. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home towards expense of the funeral. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Pastor Jim Gregg officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
