Jacquelyn "Jackie" W. (Dixon) Heslop

Jacquelyn “Jackie” W. (Dixon) Heslop of Amanda, Ohio, passed away at home on November 20, 2022. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 18, 1964. Jackie graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1982 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The Ohio State University in 1986. Jackie married the love of her life, Mitchell Heslop on June 21, 1986, in Columbus, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty and James Dixon.  Jackie is survived by her husband, Mitchell; children Megan, Kyle (fiancé Lauren), Mollie (Nathaniel); grandson, Beck; brothers Ted (Anita) Dixon and Cliff (Jackie) Dixon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and pets.

Jackie was an avid animal lover with a passion for helping others. She devoted many years as a caring Nurse Practitioner serving babies and infants. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to the beach. She was also known for her appreciation of music, specifically her love for Barry Manilow.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: DASH Rescue, 13525 Hoover Rd.
