James E. McClure, age 74, of Ashville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at his residence.
James was born Feb. 25, 1939, in Logan County, son of the late Howard and Margaret Hinton McClure.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He is survived by sons, Don (Cathy) McClure of Ashville and Ron (Joan) McClure of Columbus; sister, Betty McClure of Bellefontaine; and granddaughter, Emily McClure.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Sunday. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, prior to graveside services at 11 a.m. at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville.
