James B Wells

James B Wells, age 90, of Ashville, OH passed away on December 5, 2016 at Pickaway Manor, Circleville.  He was born on Sept 19, 1926 in Walnut Twp. to the late Stanley and Anna Ruth (Brown) Wells.  James served in the US Army during WWII and worked as a lifelong farmer in Pickaway County.  He was a Harrison Twp Trustee for over 20 years and served his community during the building of the new Harrison Fire Station

He was preceded in death by his wife Esta Marie Wells in 2013, brothers Elliot, Don, Richard, and Ned and sister Donna.  Survived by sons, Jim (Sandy) Wells of Grove City and Tim (Colleen) Wells of Groveport; step children Michael (Mary Ann) Debo of Ashville and Rene’ (Ed) Conkel of Orient; sister Monna Conrad of Circleville, and grandchildren Tara, PJ, Jake, Dee, Ryan, Evan, Lindsay, Eric, and Erin; great grandchildren Kendall, Hayden, Benjamin, Oliver, Estella, Lulu, Willa, Brayden, and Brantly; several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, Dec 10th, 2016 at Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield with grandson Ryan Conkel officiating.  During this service the ashes of Esta and James will be buried together.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice 116 Morris Rd .
