Jannette Marie Fausnaugh, age 65, of Ashville, Ohio, passed away at home on Monday, April 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. Jannette was born on April 3, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles R. and Carol Ann (Bowman) Teeters. She was a 1979 graduate of Teays Valley High School where she met the love of her life, Ronald Fausnaugh Jr. The two were married on September 27, 1980. In 1989, Jannette took a job at Teays Valley Local Schools. She worked in the cafeteria at Scioto Elementary and later moved to Teays Valley West Middle School. From 2016 to 2023, Jannette served as the Food Service Director for the district, a role from which she retired. Although she enjoyed her job at the school, her favorite role was Mom. She and Ron were blessed to raise two boys, Ronald III and Adam. She was their biggest fan and fiercest supporter. She loved being a Football and Baseball Mom and helped the PTO for many years. She was an avid quilter, a lover of vacationing in beach towns, and frequently attended Bon Jovi concerts.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, Ron, Jannette leaves behind two sons, Ronald (Shannon) Fausnaugh III and Adam (Anne) Fausnaugh; grandchildren, Carter, Reese, Grant and Emilia; siblings, Pam (Eric) Smith, Charles “Ron” (Deborah) Teeters, Jr., Billy (Eunice Bowen) Teeters, Laura Teeters, and Joe Teeters; mother-in-law, Sandy Fausnaugh; brother-in-law, Perry Fausnaugh; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.
Jannette is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Franklin Patrick Teeters and nephew, Shawn Edwards.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 17 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St, Ashville, followed by a brief visitation one hour prior to the Funeral Service on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Brian Dunham officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 116 Morris Rd.
