Jerald L. Cummins

Jerald L Cummins, 79 of Ashville, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on December 5, 1944 to the late Charles Edward and Bernice Juanita (Ward) Cummins in Ashville, OH.

Jerald was a 1964 graduate of Teays Valley High School.  He retired from  UPS as a truck driver for 30 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, working on vintage trucks and fishing.

Besides his parents, he was preceded by his brother Carl Eugene Cummins.

Jerald is survived by his wife of 45 years Frieda I. (Hostetler); daughter Tina (Mike) Starkey, son Tracy Cummins; brother Kenneth “Punk” Cummins; grandchildren Amber Renee and Chelsea Nichole Starkey, Lonnie Potts, Christopher Garrett Cummins and Kayla Nichole Cummins; great grandchildren McKinley Cummins, Luke and Liam Cummins and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11-1 Saturday July 6, 2024, with Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103 with Pastor Jason Parker officiating.   Interment will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, OH.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  Mt.
