Jimmie F. Little, age 80, of Ashville, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born on Feb. 24, 1934, in Middleport, to the late William and Mary Ellen (Brickles) Little Geott.
Jim retired as a conductor/brakeman from Conrail after 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the United Transportation Union.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo (Mulford), on Aug. 10, 2006; brothers, Odell and Bill; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
He is survived by daughter, Bunny (Danny) Arnett of Logan; sons, Rick (Kay) Little of Circleville and Scott (Joy) Little of Ashville; brother, Tony Geott of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with the Rev. Bruce Livingston officiating. Entombment will follow at Lithopolis Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
