Joan Moore

Joan M. Moore , 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020.  Joan was born at home in Columbus, Ohio on January 8, 1928 to the late Virgil B. and Forrest V. (Dugan) Wright.  Joan was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Moore and special daughter-in-law, Karen Nutter.  Survived by Clifford (Charlene) Nutter of Groveport and Linda C. Nutter of Ashville; grandchildren Jennifer (AJ) Driesbach of Ashville and Wes (Lori) Nutter of Ashville; great grandchildren Morgan Nutter, Reagan Nutter, Elliott Driesbach and Ethan Driesbach; and beloved friend, Chance.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, as well as brothers Richard (Loretta) Wright, Kenneth (Marvel) Wright, and Ned (Linda) Wright; sisters Lois Wright and Patricia (Richard) Thompson; as well as life long best friend, Mary Jane Grahman.

Joan was a graduate of North High School and retired from Milk Marketing as a laboratory technician.  She was also a member of Maize Manor U.M.C.

A special thank you to Canal Winchester Assisted Living, Pickaway Manor Care Center, and Summit Hospice for their compassionate care.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to any type of animal shelter humane society, or charity of choice.
