Joan O Prindle

Joan O. Prindle, 93, of Commercial Point, passed away on Thurs. October 5, 2017 at Brookdale Pinnacle, Grove City, Ohio.  She was born on August 30, 1924 to John and Christina Luznar in Broughton, PA.  Joan was a graduate of Lafferty High School and worked over 30 years for the State Teachers Retirement System.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Grove City, the Commercial Point Men’s Club Ladies' Auxiliary and the Riverside Methodist Hospital Sewing Guild.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Robert G. Prindle, stepfather Joe Orell, and sisters Anne Reese and Dorothy Valentini.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Paula Prindle of Commercial Point, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 2-5 pm on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.  Funeral service will be at 11 am on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at the funeral home with Father Dan Millisor officiating.  Interment will follow at Beckett Cemetery, Commercial Point, OH.  For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Scioto Township Firefighters Association, P.O.
