John O. Adams

John O. Adams, 67 of Fairfield, OH passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Altercare of Canal Winchester.   John was born on December 14, 1954 in Columbus, OH.   He was a 1973 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School and worked at the former Omar Bakery for 11 years and later on at Sun Holiday Pools in Pataskala.  He loved his grandkids and watching them play softball, baseball, football and basketball.  He was an avid fan of basketball and horse racing.  He was a member of the Baker’s Confectionary Union.

John is preceded in death by his father Ovie Adams Jr., his mother Martha (Prince) Adams Massie who also passed on Feb. 19, 2022; stepfather Ralph Massie.

John is survived by his loving wife of 9 years Patricia A. (Anthony) Adams; sons John (Jonda) Adams and Travis (Amanda) Adams; stepson Justin (Sherry) Goffena: grandchildren Gabby, Averie, Hunter, Logan, Adam, Autumn, Grant, Audrey, Nora, Chloe and Amelia; brother Kenney (Theresa) Adams; sister Pamela Pratt; brother Ed Fitzgerald; best friend Johnny Gueli; numerous other friends.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23rd with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24th with Pastor Gary Clum officiating at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103.
