John Howard Ford Iii

John   Howard  Ford  III, 57  of Chillicothe, went home to be with his Lord on Tues, Sept. 13, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.  He was born on July 10, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John Howard Ford , Jr. and Nancy Kay (Thompson) Ford Steele who survives.  John was raised in the Ashville  and Circleville area, also was a proud veteran of the  U.S. Marines for 4 years.  He retired from the City of Columbus, Division of Water and  member of  God’s Community Outreach in Chillicothe.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vicki S. (Arledge) Ford; daughters, Heather (Chris) Tomlison of Laurelville and Tashia Ford  (Bryan) Scoles of Grove City; 7 grandchildren; mother Nancy of Columbus; brothers and sisters, Rocky (Karen) Ford of Ft. Myers, FL., Patty (Steve) Feuer of New Albany, Rebecca (Gary) Barota of Pittsburgh, PA, Jodi (Randy) Brooks of Circleville, Jeff Steele of Cincinnati, and Kelly (Ruiz) Banchi of NV; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. on Wed. Sept. 21, 2016 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio with Pastor Woodrow Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.  The family will received friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tues. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to God’s Community Outreach Church, 27307 Old Rt. 35 Chillicothe, 45601
