John Edward Little

John Edward Little, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was 61 years old.  John was born on November 18, 1962 to the late Larry and Sarah (Conrad) Little of Lockbourne, Ohio. He graduated from Teays Valley High School, before beginning his construction career with ALD Concrete. John married Debbie Nelson in 1988, and the pair were blessed with daughters, Karina (1989), Jessica and Samantha.  John was notorious for making friends anywhere he went. He was known for his tireless work ethic, his sense of humor, and most importantly the love he had for his family. That love only grew in 2015 when he welcomed his first and only granddaughter, Karina Lee Corbett. She became his whole world and he spoiled her as often as he could.  John’s construction career abruptly ended in 2020, after complications arose from brain cancer treatments which ultimately led to his passing.

Besides his parents, John was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Elsie, and a daughter, Karina Little.

John is survived by his wife, Debbie Little; daughters, Jessica (James) Corbett, and Samantha (Dirk) Crist; granddaughter, Karina Corbett; two sisters, and various other family members.

Visitation with family will be held from 2-4 p.m. followed by A Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 23rd at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.
