Kenneth Edward Butcher

Kenneth Edward Butcher, 78, of Ashville, Oh passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born in Boone County, Kentucky on May 18, 1946. Ken enlisted in the Army in 1964 where he was stationed in Germany and also served in the Army Reserves until the 80's. He retired from Wonder Bread Bakery after 35 years. He loved his children and all his grand babies. He never got off the phone without saying "Give my babies kisses".

He loved doing crossword puzzles and watching his favorite sports teams the Kentucky Wildcats, THE Ohio State Buckeyes, and his Bengals.

He is survived by his sister Georgia (Kokie) Scheidig; children, Tina Maddalena (Greg),  Lisa Voorhees (Nick), Amy & Kenny Stocker; grandchildren, Hunter Voorhees, Matthew Stocker (Kelsey), Cayleigh Hopkins (DJ), Blake & Ella Voorhees, Sofia & Gabriella Maddalena, Jenna & Timothy Hines, Ambrosia, Kylar & Ashton Stocker; great grandchild Lillian Rose; stepchildren, Robin Morgan & Tracy Dillow (Marsha); and Ken's special friend and companion, Doran Norman.

He was preceded in death by his sister Deanie Branham; father Earl Branham; mother Martha Butcher; sister's Annalee Moore,  Edna Johnson, and Ollie Mae Bocook; and brother Robert. Mothers of his children Nora Carroll & Virginia Stocker. Wives, Phyllis Butcher & Anna Butcher. Granddaughter Teka and Grandson Rusty.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home.
