Larry E. Peters
February 13, 1949 — July 11, 2016
Larry E. Peters, age 67, of Ashville, passed away on July 11, 2016. He was born on February 13, 1949 to Ralph E. and Ruby (Kocher) Peters. Larry was a Class of 1967 Teays Valley alumni and was a member of Rick Brown VFW Post 7941. Throughout his career, he worked with WW Williams Co., APE and recently Cummins Welding. He was a proud Marine veteran serving 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by father, Ralph E. Peters and nephew, Michael T. Wanko. Larry is survived by mother, Ruby M. Peters of Ashville; sister, Bonnie Wanko of Columbus; nephew, Tim Wanko of Cape Coral, FL; special friend, Leslie Booth of KY and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. AMVETS 2256 graveside service and interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: PTF Worthington Christian Schools, Michael T.
