Louis E. Baggett

Louis E. Baggett, age 79, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Chillicothe, OH. Louis was born on May 18, 1946, in Turtletown, TN to the late William L. and Nelda D. (Johnson) Baggett. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Following his service, he opened his own transmission shop.

Louis is survived by his daughter, Holly L. Baggett; brothers, Anthony C. and Vernon L. Baggett; and niece, Lisa Grostky.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, OH with Chaplain Jim Ferrell offering words of comfort. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Military honors will be provided by the Amvets Post 2256.
