Lowell Michael “Mike” Dixon, age 95, of Ashville, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Mike was born on March 10, 1931, in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Tobe and Una (May) Dixon. Mike was a dedicated Christian and member of Hedges Chapel CCCU. He was a Marine Veteran serving stateside during the Korean War and owned Brookedale Machine until the time of his retirement at 90 years old.

Mike leaves behind his wife of 75 years, Mary (Wright) Dixon; children, Judy (Dave) Clark, Dale (Nancy) Dixon, Laurie (Terry) McDaniel and Brook (Diana) Dixon; grandchildren, Shannon (Brian) Loose, Tobe (Krista) Clark, Nathan (Trisha) Clark, Eva (Dusty) Steinhausser, Donovan (Lindsey) Dixon, Crystal (Devin) Seilhamer, Abby (Josh) Soliday, Sam (Kim) McDaniel, Gretchen (Adam) McKenzie, Amber (Jordan) Cupp, and Betsy (Gunnar) Lamb; great-grandchildren, Andrew (Jenny) Loose, Zane Loose, Kaylee (Clark) Christman, Brice Clark, Sadie and Grace Clark, Eli (Lidia) Steinhausser, Mary, Elsa, Hank, Mike and Heidi Steinhausser, Tyler and Tessa Bradley, Julian Seilhamer, Olivia (A.J.) (Soliday) Clark, Madison, September and Wyatt Soliday, Gabriel, Lillian, Isaiah and Rosalie McDaniel, Ruby and Jolene McKenzie, Finn and Felix Cupp and Everett Lamb; many great-great-grandchildren; niece, Carol (Roy) Barr; nephew, Bill Jackson and numerous precious family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brothers, Benjamin, Dallas, Marcus, Thomas and Robert Dixon, and sisters, Ruby Miller, Jane Pendleton, Lois Porter, Marjorie (Jinx) Snyder and Velma Hay; as well as all their beloved spouses.

Mike’s family and friends cherished his attitude of praise and spirit of joy. May all who remain be so inclined to love the Lord like he did!

In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville, OH. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
