Maggie E.  Snelling 89 of Columbus passed away at Summit’s Trace Nursing Home.  She was born on June 23, 1926 in Ashville, Ohio to the late George and Tabitha (White) Harber.   Maggie retired from ARC Industries as an Instructor after many years.   Preceded in death by husband Louis L. Snelling on April 14, 1991; brothers, Asa, Edward, Willard, Woodrow, and George Harber; sisters, Jean Snelling, Gracie Klein, and Rosie Smith.  Survived by children,  Michael (Elizabeth) Snelling of Galloway and Stephen (Jeannie) Snelling of Pickerington; daughter Sandy (Luther) Wroten of Mazatlan, Mexico, Leroy (Patty)  Schofield of Stoutsville; grandchildren, Shaun (Hillary), Gena, Leroy (Angie), Julie (Brian), Andy (Tiffany), John (Julie), Amy (Andy), Jason (Angie), Mike (Megan), Kenny, Dolores; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Natalie, Leah, Elise, Kaida, Rebecca, Kali, Baylee, Paris, Robin, Tim, Brittany, Matt, Drew, Dillon, Drayton, Trinity; great great granddaughter Mallory; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Summit’s Trace Health Care and Kendred at Home Hospice for all of the wonderful care they gave their mother.

Funeral Service  12:00 noon Sat. Feb. 13th, 2016 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with Rev.  William Snider, officiating.   Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Obetz.  The family will receive friends on Friday, Today from 6- 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday.
