Marcella "Marty" L Wells

Marcella (Marty) L. Wells, 89, of Circleville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 21 at her current residence, the Bickford of Lancaster. Marty was born on June 2, 1937, to the late Clyde and Goldie (Shewalter) Detillion in Chillicothe, OH. She was a graduate of Southeastern School District, attended First Baptist Church of Ashville and worked many years for Alan Sedlac as a Legal Secretary. Marty loved to bake, play Scrabble, read, and do crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ned R. Wells; daughter, Pamela Kerns; brothers, Fred and Jim Detillion; brother-in-law, James Wells and his wife Esta. 

She leaves behind a son, Jeffrey Wells; daughter, Tami Wells; grandchildren, Chris (Heather) Kerns, Jenna (Steve) Bloxam, Kacy (Jerad) Gilliland, Josh Wells, Amber and Nick Coulson; numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Monna Conrad.

Marcella will be remembered for her kind heart, supportive and loving personality as well as her witty sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St, Ashville, OH with Rev.
