Marjorie L. Gillis, age 87, of Dublin, OH passed away September 4, 2025, at Laurels of West Columbus. She was born on July 30, 1938, in Gallipolis, OH to the late Lewis and Geneva (Swain) Fisher. She was a 1955 graduate of Mercerville High and worked for the State of Ohio as an Administrative Assistant.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Gillis; sisters, Mavedell Houck, Maudell Mae Fisher and Janice Sue Burke; and brother-in-law Oakey Johnson.
She is survived by her sister Marilyn Johnson of Dublin, OH.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Harrison Twp. Cemetery, 5001 Union St. South Bloomfield, OH 43103 with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.
