Mark (Steve) Gray

Mark Steven (Steve) Gray, age 61 passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 in at Mt. Carmel West, Columbus, OH.  He was born on July 27, 1956 to the late Clarence W. and Agnes (Muncie) Gray Sr. in Columbus, OH.

Steve was a graduate of Teays Valley Class of 1974 and was Superintendent of Split Rock Golf Course.

Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by brothers Clarence W. Gray Jr. and Dan Gray; sisters Nancy Gray Robbins and Margie Gray Hanley.

Steve is survived by wife Peggy (Costlow) Gray, son Troy (Victoria) Timmons of Laurelville and daughter Cortney (Brian) Crompton of Ashville; grandchildren Stone, Hunter, Emma, Gracie, Halee and Molly; brother Bill Gray of Ashville; sisters Pat (Floyd) Hughey of Stoutsville, Kathy (Gray) Neal of Circleville, Judy (Ron) Reed of Lockbourne, Bev (Rick) Cook of Chillicothe and Penny (Kevin) Clark of Circleville; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was an incredible man who loved his grandchildren dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wed. Aug. 2, 2017 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH.  Funeral service with be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Thurs.
