Mark A. Kinney

Mark A. Kinney, age 60, of Buckeye Lake, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. He was born on March 19, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Rans and Dorothy J. (Williams) Kinney. Mark had worked at the Prince of Peace Church in Dublin some years ago and more recently worked for himself doing yard maintenance. Mark enjoyed working outdoors in his flowers and making his home look nice, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael; brothers, Rans Jr. and Randy; grandma, Edna Williams; aunt, Rosemary Sweeney.

Survived by fiancée, Melyssa Newland; daughter, Reagan Kiser, her husband Fabrizio Gonzalez; grandchildren, Eliana and Santiago Gonzalez; sister-in-law, Stephanie Kinney; nephews, Jeremy Kinney and Christopher Guthrie.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Tim Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Lithopolis.
