Martha L. (Durham) Chesser

Martha L. Chesser, 82 of Ashville, OH passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Logan Elm Healthcare in Circleville, OH.  She was born on July 15, 1940 to the late Ora and Geneva (Carter) Durham in Jackson, OH. She graduated high school and worked throughout the years as a waitress and also had a cleaning business.  She enjoyed being outside,  gardening, canning and spending time with family and friends.

Martha is preceded in death by husband Larry L. Chesser; Siblings Raymond, Dale, Eugene, Sharon, Phyllis and David.

She is survived by sons Robert (Penny) Morris of Murrells Inlet, SC and Larry (Valarie) Morris of Ashville; grandchildren Holly Voorhies (John), Suzanne Jones (Nate), Aaron Morris (Sarah), Megan Morris (Laura), Dustin McCoy, Chris McCoy (Amanda); great grandchildren Hunter, Brayden, Bailey, Destiny, Taylor, Peyton, Riley, Connor, Mason and Liam; Brother Marion; Sisters Wanda, Lois and Evelyn; several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family extends special thanks to Logan Elm Healthcare and Promedica Hospice for their care and support.
