Martha Kay Little

Martha “Kay” Little , age 61 of South Bloomfield, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born March 6, 1963, in Johnson County, KY, daughter of Denzel and Mary (Johnson) Kimbler. Kay was an excellent cook. She loved her flowers and her yard, loved to play Bingo and she was always willing to care for others. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Rick; daughters, Samantha Howard, of South Bloomfield, Nickie (Tony) Price, of New Lexington, and Dee Dee (Alan Munson) Little, of Ashville; step-sons, Rickey Little, of Frankfort and Andy Aspell, of Columbus; son-in-law, Michael Adkins, of Circleville; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Cindy) Kimbler, of KY, Gene Kimbler, of Columbus, and Roger Dale, of KY; “soul sister”, Jackie Burris, of Circleville; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Denzel Kimbler and Mary (Johnson) Jasper; brother, Roy Kimbler; and sisters, Barbara Ferguson and Brenda Kimbler.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville. Interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, in the family cemetery in Flat Gap, KY. Kay’s family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
