Mary Louise Bandy Cremeans, 92, of Gallitin, TN passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2025 at 12:20 a.m. She was born in Beaver, OH on March 7th, 1933 to the late Woodrow and Mary Ellen Bandy. Mary worked for many years at Gold Circle as a cashier. She also worked in daycare, babysitting many children throughout her lifetime. She loved children. She became a member of First Baptist Church of Ashville 60 years ago. Mary became a born-again Christian at the age of 32 and lived her life according to God's will. She always saw the good in people. Her greatest wish of all, was for all her family to be saved, and to see them all one day in Heaven.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Charles Cremeans in 2005, father, Woodrow William Bandy and mother, Mary Ellen Bandy; brothers, Fred Richard Bandy and George William Bandy; sisters, Jo Ann Caldwell and Linda Lou Taylor; granddaughter, Kymberly Sue Cremeans and brother-in-law, Rudy Caldwell.
She is survived by her brother Clarence (Bub) (Donna) Bandy, Ashville, OH; children, Darcy Arnold of Parker, CO, Marsha (Lee) Johnson of St. Cloud, FL, Richard (Pamela) Cremeans of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Tawni (Mike) Scaccia, of Parker, CO, Kerrie (Jim) McCoy of Bellefontaine, OH, Sam Bookwalter, and Matt Bookwalter of Circleville, OH, and Mike Johnson of FL; Great-grandchildren, Kierra and Christian, Taylor and Coltin; Great-great-grandchild, Kennedi.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Saturday, October 4th at 11 a.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, OH, 43103 with Richard Cremeans officiating. Interment will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, OH. Pallbearers, Coltin Harrington, Jim McCoy, Christian Scaccia, Mike Scaccia, Sam Bookwalter, Matt Bookwalter.
