Matthew S. Morgan

Matthew S. Morgan, 71 of Ashville, OH passed away at home on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was born on August 22, 1953 in Westchester, PA to the late Bobby G. and Mary Beth (Minnick) Sluder. He served in the U.S. Marines for 20 years and later worked as a truck driver for Forward Air.

He was an avid motorcyclist, and was a member of the biker gang “Leathernecks”.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers David Allen Cunningham and Philip Cunningham; sister Deborah Sluder Alexander.

Matthew is survived by his son Jamis Rose and his sisters Diane Calvert and Josephine Cunningham; Cousin Penny Lou Bowser; Ex-wife Johni Morgan; friends Jason (Sparky) Sauer and Scott Conn.

Per Matthew’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life Party at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 9th at Kelli Jo’s Sports Bar, Long St. Ashville.
