Michael Joseph Vanhorn

Michael “Mike” J. Van Horn , age 75 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was born in Columbus on October 24, 1948, to the late Donald and Gertrude (Humpe) Van Horn.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brothers Carl Van Horn and Donald Van Horn Jr.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Van Horn of Cape Coral, FL and Kim (James) Distin of Wylie, Tx. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lucas, Marissa and Jacob.

There will be a graveside service held Tuesday, October 8th at 11:00 am at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio in the Holy Rosary Section with Father Vincent Nguyen officiating.  Arrangements and care of family entrusted to Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville, Ohio.    Online condolences to olivercheekfuneralhome.com
