Minnie (Evans) Hanshaw

Minnie Hanshaw 77 of Ashville passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her residence. She was born on December 29, 1944 in Lovely, KY to the late William and Florence (Brown) Evans.  Minnie retired as a medical tech and aide for the former Berger Hospice and Home Health Care.  After retirement she continued to help with private home care in the Ashville and the surrounding area.  Minnie was a member of  New Beginnings Freewill Baptist Church in Ashville and a former member of So. Columbus FWB. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Dixie Lee; brothers Cleveland, Charles, Elijah Evans; sisters, Mary Butts, Martha Murphy, Gertrude “Cook” Murphy, Ann Fisher, and Ruby Evans.

She is survived by her children, William (Annmarie) Hanshaw, Brenda (Richard) Gilmore, Robert Hanshaw (Tessa Edwards), Rhonda (John) Spillman, Scot Hanshaw (Becky Hall), Chuck (Joyce) Hanshaw, Kay Riley, and Dale (Julie) Hanshaw; grandchildren, Jennifer (Randy) Wright, Jessica Hanshaw (Ricky Sexton), Jordan (Aryn) Gilmore, Sam (Luzette) Gilmore, Cierra Gilmore, Emily Gilmore, Kendra (Todd) Trees, Zander Edwards, Rinn Hanshaw, Tori (Dakota) Hawk, Drew Hanshaw, William, Gerald, and Raul Wyatt-Hall, Josh and Jeff Hanshaw, Melissa Jennings; great grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Colton, Cody, Austyn, Symon, Kynleigh, Evelynn, Kaiden, Ellie Mae, and Noah; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family members, as well as her church family. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at New Beginnings Freewill Baptist Church 4239 OH-316 (west of 104) Ashville with the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the church with Pastor David Bowens officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Twp. Cemetery, State Route 104, Circleville.
