Miriam E Lambert

Miriam E. Lambert, age 88, of Allouez, WI, formerly of Mansfield, OH, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. She was born on May 12, 1938, in Ashville, OH, to the late Cecil Edwin and Alice Marie (Shepard) Ward. She was a 1956 graduate of Scioto Twp. High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Capital University in Music Education. Miriam was an organist and piano teacher, working alongside her husband in the Lutheran ministry. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI.

Miriam leaves behind her son, Paul (Debbie) Lambert; daughter, Linda (Robert) Ferro; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Ferro, Anna Ferro (Joshua Blauert), Rebekah Ferro (Tom Zavertnik), Zachary Lambert, Alex (Mary DesJardins-Lambert) Lambert, Emily Lambert; and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, George Lambert, in 2014.

A visitation with the family will be on Monday, July 20 from 10 – 11 am at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, OH. A service will immediately follow with words of comfort offered by Rev. Robert Ferro. Interment will follow at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery, Darbyville, OH.
