Pamela Sue (Blevins) Murphy 61 of So. Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was loved by many and exemplified how to live with faith, strength, and generosity. She was born on Feb. 10, 1955 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late James Everett and Julia Mae ( Russell ) Blevins.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Mae; grandson, Austin; brother Virgil; sisters, Mary and Wanda. She is survived by husband Robert B.; children, Kimberly Sue Murphy of Ocala, FL., Robert B. III (Kimberly) Murphy of Ashville, Vanessa (Scott) Richards of So. Bloomfield, and Miranda (Jeff) Woodward of Circleville; grandchildren, Ronnie, Santanna, Zachary, Jaden, Chris, Ace, Christian, Caleb, Mariah, and Bryant; great grandchildren, Madison, Hailey, William, R.J., and J.C.; sisters, Claris (Gene) Blackburn, Marie (Milton) Russell, Geraldine Blevins; brothers, Leroy (Sharon) Blevins, Paul Blevins, David (Jean) Blevins, Larry (Betty) Blevins; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wed. April 27, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with a Service at 1: 00 p.m , Pastor Herman Crocher officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the funeral home for expenses.
