Patricia J Von Ins

Patricia J. Von Ins, 89, of Ashville, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Story Point Grove City.  Pat was born on August 16, 1935, to the late Olen and Virginia Lucille (Thayer) Green.  She was a graduate of Braxton County High School and had worked for Nationwide Insurance.  She was also a member of South Bloomfield Methodist Church.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene N. Von Ins and children, Karen J. Gandarillas and Don Von Ins.

She is survived by grandchildren Branden and Jessica Von Ins, Ryan Gray, and David Ocker; great-grandchildren Aiden and Lukas Ocker; and son-in-law Richard Gandarillas.

Visitation will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main Street, Ashville, OH.  Services will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the South Bloomfield Methodist Church, 5027 West 2nd Street, South Bloomfield, OH with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating.  Burial will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr #170, Columbus, OH 43231.

One of Pat’s favorite and special Bible verses came from 1 Corinthians 13:13, which states, “Three things will last forever—faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love.”
