Patricia Ann Ward Graves

Patricia Ann (Ward) Graves 75 of Groveport, passed away Tues. July 29, 2014 at Pickering House, Fairhope Hospice in Lancaster. She was born on Jan. 15, 1939 in Columbus to the late Cecil and Marie (Fisher) Ward. Pat had attended Marion Franklin High School, had worked for Krege's, P.S. Truesdell Candy Co., and retired from Ashland Oil with Super America after many years. She was a member of Rohr Road Baptist Church, Lockbourne and she loved to volunteer for Capital Area Humane Society. She was preceded in death by daughter Cincella Sloan in 1965 , parents, and brother Robert Ward. Survived by her husband of 26 years, Paul R. Graves ; daughers, Katrina Sloan (Roger) Miller and Lonessa Sloan (David) Mills both of Ashville; granddaughters, Abby Sloan of Ashville and Ryan (Matthew) Hauck of Waverly; 2 great grandchildren, Grace Gentry and Gunner King; also many nieces , nephews , and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Sat. Aug. 2, 2014 at Rohr Road Baptist Church, 2225 Rohr Rd. Lockbourne, Ohio with Rev. Dennis Wolf and Rev. David Warton. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.
