Patty L (Hunt) Salyer

Patty L Salyer age 77 of Orient, OH passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 at Kobacker House in Columbus.  She was born on Mar. 2, 1939 in Hillard, OH to the late Clarence and Bessie (Twigg) Hunt.  Patty was a graduate of Hillard HS (1957).  She retired from Medex in Hillard after 20 years and had attended Hillard Church of Christ.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband of 30years Cobert C Salyer (Oct 2013) as well as her brothers; Myron Hunt, Alan Hunt, and Clarence Hunt Jr.  sisters; Opal Miller, Marie Sweeney, Lottie Wagoner, and JoAnne Abrams.

She is survived by her children Dave (Lynette) Dale Jr. of Orient and Diane (Keith) Dodge of Columbus; sister Susie (Roscoe) Leach of New Albany, IN; grandchildren Amanda Blevins, David Fairchild, Davie Dale, Jessie (Barry) Walton, and Kenzey(Justin) Kullgren; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville.  Memorial Service at the funeral home 11:00 am on Saturday, Oct 15th, 2016 with Reverend Danny Vanscoy officiating.  Burial will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, OH.  Family request in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd.
