Paul Joseph “Joe” Harber, age 88, of Ashville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was the son of the late Asa and Eva (Lozier) Harber, born in Millport, Ohio, on March 2, 1938. Joe was employed for 40 years at Atlas Construction as a Concrete Laborer and was a member of Laborers Local 423. For fun, Joe liked to go hunting or trapping.

He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Norma Jane (Estep) Harber; son, Paul Jr. (Andrea) Harber; and daughter, Joyce (Rob) Morgan; grandchildren, Brad, Brent, Holly, Shane, Aimee, and Brandon; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Margie, Linda, Betty, Nancy, Danny and Bob; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were siblings, Harold, Dick, Donald, Mary, Frances, and infant brother, Asa.

A visitation will be held at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville, Ohio, on Friday, May 8, at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Jared Harber will be offering words of comfort. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Condolences can be offered online at olivercheekfuneralhome.com.
