Paul Kazee, 82, of Ashville, OH passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH. Paul was born on December 13, 1942, to the late Orion Paul and Goldie Belle (Hayes) Kazee in Columbus, Ohio. He was a 1961 graduate of South High School and worked as a machinist for all of his professional life ending his career at RCA in Circleville, Ohio. People of deep faith, Paul and Donna, his wife of 61 years, attended various CCCU and Nazarene churches. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, fields and forests and streams were a constant source of delight. He was never more at home than when he was in a canoe. Paul made bespoke Kentucky Rifles of exquisite quality. He was a masterful scrimshander producing much sought after powder horns. Paul was also an accomplished self-taught classical guitarist. Besides his parents, Paul is also preceded in death by his half-brother Jay Jordan and half-sister Irene Jordan. He is survived by his son Roby Paul (Jane) Kazee; daughters Lori Lee (Shawn) Baer and Amy Angel Scalf; grandchildren Paige Stevens, Maggie Mosley, Abby Kazee, Mollie Hamilton, Lilly Kazee, Mattie Grace Bowersock and Jadan Scalf as well as 10 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at Hedges Chapel CCCU Church, 15495 Winchester Rd., Ashville, with Pastor Steve Palmer and Rev. Rob Kazee officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00. Interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hedges Chapel Church.
