Peggy Ann Robbins, age 81 of Ashville, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, December 27, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinsons disease. She was born on June 28, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles Ellis. She is survived by her loving husband William Lee Robbins; children Teresa (Gary) Philbrick; William (Jill) Robbins; Tim Robbins (Angela Smalley) and Scott Robbins; grandchildren Joshua Robbins, Peyton (Connor) Burton, Morgan Philbrick, Hunter Robbins (Clara Bernthold), Olivia Robbins and Peggy Philbrick; siblings Mary (Harold) Plymale, Norma (Byron) Odell, Richard (Carla) Ellis, Karen (Larry) Molen, Mike Ellis, Angel (Jared) Brison, Brian Ellis, Cora Ellis, Ryan Ellis, Charlene (Steve) Tancos, and Betty Maddrix; sisters-in-law Wilma Sark and Jeri Robbins along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends. She is preceded in death by father Charles Ellis; step-mother Miriam Ellis; mother-in-law Elizabeth Robbins; father-in-law James Robbins; special aunts and uncles Velva (Bud) Nibert and Verna (Joseph) Gall; siblings Patty Ellis, Bobby Ellis, Ronald Ellis and Sharon Keene- Smith; brothers-in-law James Robbins, Richard Robbins, Darrell Robbins, Charles Sark and sister-in-law Helen Robbins. She graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1961. She married the love of her life, William Lee Robbins on July 28, 1962. She was a devoted mother and homemaker to her four children. She was extremely active in their social activities such as 4-H, cub scouts, brownies, band, baseball, football, and wrestling prior to beginning her career with Sharffs Fashions where she retired after more than 20 years of service. Peggy was a wonderful wife and mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She was a selfless woman who always put the needs of others before her own. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the communities where she lived and worked as well as a very devoted member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Ashville, Ohio. She had a passion for cooking and baking. Her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family and church gatherings. If she was not in the kitchen, you could find her tending to her flower beds. She is leaving behind a legacy of kindness, goodness, generosity, love, and strength. She has touched the lives of many who crossed paths with her. Family meant the world to Peggy and she will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W Main St, Ashville, Ohio 43103 with Reverend Ty Myers officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 11 am – 1 pm with the funeral service immediately following. Interment will follow at Heavenly Hills, 17544 Little Walnut Rd, Circleville, Ohio 43113. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 42 Plum St, Ashville, Ohio 43103 in memory of Peggy Robbins.
