Rachel L Welsh

Rachel L. Welsh, age 54, of Ashville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Mt. Carmel Grove City surrounded by her family. She was born May 20, 1971 in Logan, Ohio to Lawrence and Beverly (Cupp) Payne who survive. Rachel was a graduate of Logan Elm H.S. Class of 1989. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them as well as gardening and just being outside.

She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Richard Chestnut and grandmother Violet Jarvis.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 17 years Adam B. Welsh; parents Lawrence and Bev; her children Tyler (Lexi) Krafthefer, Katie Martin, Justin (Marilyn) Welsh, Hillary Welsh; grandchildren Adah Brasileiro, Noah Borley, Bentley and Sophia Krafthefer; sisters Lisa Chestnut and Traci (Brian) Kendall; father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank and Jenny Welsh; numerous nieces and nephews.
