Ralph D Heil

Ralph D. Heil 92 of Circleville, went home to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by his family on Thurs. July 14th, 2016 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born on Feb. 7, 1924 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late Adam and Alma (Karch) Heil. Ralph had retired after 42 years for Wilson Floor Company, was a member of the Knights of Pythias , Pickaway Senior Center, and the YMCA. He attended Emmanuel United Methodist in Circleville and was an avid golfer. Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran during W.W. II and a graduate of Hamilton Township High School Class of 1942. Preceded in death by his wife Mary Esther Smith on April 24, 2008; brothers, Floyd, John, Ed; sisters, Mary Meyers, and Margaret Heiser.
Survived by daughters, Janice (Tim) Novotni of Lancaster and Jeanette (Jim) Hayes of Cincinnati; grandchildren Jessica (Clint) Murphy, Megan Novotni and Taylor Novotni, Casey (Jeffrey) Johnson, and Jimmy (Taylor) Hayes; great grandchildren, Cailee and Maximus Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon Monday, July 18, 2016 in the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Friends may from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield.
