Rans Kinney
January 30, 1935 — September 15, 2017
Rans Kinney 82 of Columbus, passed away at The Kobacker House at Riverside. He was born on Jan. 30, 1935 in Pikeville, KY to the late Merle and Caroline (Meadows) Kinney. Rans retired from Columbus Fair Auto Auction and had worked for many years at the former Elliott’s SOHIO Station in downtown Columbus. Preceded in death by a son, Rans Jr. , grandson, Michael, brothers, Bobby, Bruce, Forrest; sisters Margie, Jettie May, and Delzenia.
Survived by the love of his life for 58 years, Dorothy J. (Williams); sons, Mark (Samantha) and Randy (Stephanie); grandchildren, Jeremy Seagle, Reagan and Kayleigh Kiser; sisters, Brenda (Glenn) Holden of AL and Trula (Bun) Phillips of GA; also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with a Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tues. Sept. 19, 2017.
