Reba L. Lewis, 77 of Washington Courthouse, Ohio and formerly of Ashville, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington Courthouse. She was born on January 2, 1949 in Americus, GA to the late George Raford and Virginia Hazel (Williams) Lewis. Reba was a graduate of Dougherty County High School in Georgia. She had worked for Westpoint and Shaw Industries in the textile business and more recently retired from Walmart as a cashier. A member of Village Chapel where she had a great church family.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by twin grandsons Tyler and Matthew Kinninger and grandson Brandon Vanzant.
Reba is survived by her children, Shannon (Jim) Kinninger and Jonathan Vanzant; grandchildren, Justin and Madison Kinninger, Josepine (Gary) Ross, Kirsten Vanzant, and Alee Henry; great grandchild Jessie Henry; brother James Walter (Phyllis) Lewis; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Cathy Leatherwood and Arletta Crawford.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22nd from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Service at 4:00 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating. Online condolences to the olivercheekfuneralhome.com
