Rema Gail (Bailey) Curry

Rema Gail Curry, 79, of South Bloomfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 11, 1946 in Delbarton, WV to the late Howard Bailey and Myrtle Dempsey Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James T. Curry, sister Brenda Kay Bailey and her brother Wes Bailey. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Shena (Matt) Preston of South Bloomfield, Ohio and her son James T. Curry II of Ashville, Ohio, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her. Rema spent most of her years as a homemaker and she loved the Lord with all her heart and spent many years in the ministry singing in churches all over Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. She was a member of the Pentecostal Shield of Faith Church on East Innis Ave. in Columbus.
