Richard L Foreman

Richard Lee Foreman, 89, of Kettering, Ohio went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2025 after a two-week stay in the Kettering Health ICU. He was born on March 19, 1936 in Columbus to the late William Foreman and Jeanette (Hardt) Foreman.

He is survived by his brothers Bob Foreman and John Foreman. His brother Bill Foreman predeceased him.

He is survived by his children with Marjorie Foreman: Ronald Foreman, Robert Foreman, Rick Foreman, Kathy Efaw, Becky Foreman and Suzy Gilliland. He is survived by his children with Candy Gill: Jonathan Foreman and Ashley Harris as well as Candy’s daughter’s Ursula Wolfe and Elka Bowe who he treated as his own.

Richard also has enough surviving grandchildren and great-grandchildren to make up a small army.

He had many adventures in his life from hobbies such as flying his own Cessna air plane to his work at a lumberyard and on construction crews. He would often point out to his children while driving the many buildings and homes he had worked on.

In recent years he attended church any time the doors were open and had many friends at Emmanuel Lutheran, Zion Lutheran, Fairhaven and others. He loved donuts and could often be found at his favorite donut shops on Saturday morning.

A private family ceremony will be held to honor his life.
