Richard E Pangborn

Richard E. Pangborn, age 81, of Ashville, passed away on Sat.  July16, 2016 at his residence.   He was born on July 29, 1934 in Delaware, Ohio, the son of the late Dale Carl and Georgie M. Bartman Pangborn.  He was married to Betty L. Camelin Pangborn who preceded him in death in 1994.  Richard is also preceded in death by a stepson, Richard Grant Mitchell Jr. and a brother, Larry Pangborn.   Richard worked many years for Consolidated Stores and served in the US Army during 1957 to 1959.  Richard is survived by stepsons, Randall L. Mitchell of IN, and Frank E. Mitchell of Columbus; brothers William D. of CA and Robert O. of AR; sisters, Elizabeth Joanne Fisher of Hardington, OH and Delores Ketchum of FL; step grandchildren, Ricky, Mathew, Sarah Mitchell, Heather Tylenda and Holly Smith of NY; Crystal and Angela Mitchell of Ashville and Jami Sargent and Richard Baize of IN; step great grandchildren, Anna Mitchell, Markie Mitchell, Harper Mitchell , Layla Smith, Madison and Logan Tylenda, Jaelyn Mitchell, Joe and Roger Sargent and Ruari Baize

Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tues. July 19, 2016 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, OH 43103. Rev. William Snider will officiate.  Interment will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville with AMVETS 2256 Graveside Service.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service     at the funeral home.
