Ricky "Rick" David Carr

Ricky “Rick” David Carr, 76 of Ashville, OH passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Mount Carmel Hospital in Grove City.  He was born on October 30, 1947 to the late Francis Earl and Faye Jean (Mahone) Carr in Columbus, OH.  He retired from Buckeye Power Sales.  Besides being a hard worker, he loved when OSU Men’s and Women’s Basketball started.  He was a true animal lover and they were drawn to him, he sometimes liked animals better than people.

Besides his parents, Rick is preceded in death by a brother Darrell Carr.

Rick is survived by wife of 42 years Beverly (Butler) Carr (they always put each other first); children Jay (Kelsey) Estep, Ricky Carr, Rob (Lynn) Estep, Jill (Travis) Teets, Jennifer (Danny) Smith and Judd Carr; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation with family will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 3rd at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH. A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date at the convenience of the family.    Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
