Robert "Bob" J. Schroeder

Robert J. “Bob” Schroeder 83 of So. Bloomfield, Ohio passed away Wed. Nov. 16, 2022 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born May 16, 1939 in Sheboygan Falls, WI to the late Harold and Veronica (Rommelfanger) Schroeder. Bob retired with over 20 years serving his country in the U.S. Air Force and during Vietnam. He served on the So. Bloomfield Village Council for a number of years and also retired from the former Big Bear Stores after 14 years. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by brother William; sisters, Doris Schroeder and Marie Muehlberg; brother-in-law Harold Jester, Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Agnes J. (Jester) Schroeder; brother Richard Schroeder of St. Louis, MO; sister Gertrude Garczynski of Sheboygan Falls,WI; sister-in-law Judy Schroeder; Inlaws, Norma Jean Jester of Circleville, Shelba Jester of Marion; nephews Robert (Sheryl) Jester of Larue, OH, Alan (Jeanne) Garczynski, Drew Garczynski; nieces Sherry Muehlberg (Jim Sineral) and Sue (Mark) Phillips in addition to many other relatives; dear friends Mary Dahmen of Madison, WI, Irma Lewis of Circleville, Nate, Amber, Alyssa and Evan Batty of Chillicothe, Mike and Christy Lowry of So. Bloomfield, Carissa Lowry of Ashville, and Meagan Lowry of So. Bloomfield. Friends may call on Wed. Nov. 23, 2022 from 12 noon until the time of Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio with Pastor Bill Maniaci officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield.
