Robert C Owens

Robert C. Owens, 66, of Ashville passed away on April 21, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 8, 1960 to Robert E. and the late Patsy (Jones) Owens in Columbus. He was a veteran of the Army and drove a dump truck for Monesi Trucking for many years. He loved NASCAR racing and dirt racing at Atomic Speedway.

Aside from his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Jody.

Robert is survived by his wife of over a decade, Teresa; sisters Diane and Deena; brother Doug; many nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.

According to his wishes, cremation has been observed in the care of Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home in Ashville. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
