Robert Thompson

Robert Carma Eugene Thompson , 71, of South Bloomfield, OH passed away at Brown Memorial on Saturday, January 11, 2025.  He was born on April 9, 1953 to the late Bradley and Mildred (Fraley) Thompson in Blaine, Kentucky.  Robert was an employee of the Village of South Bloomfield in the water department and for many years at Techniglass in Columbus.  He loved hunting; especially squirrel hunting, fishing, bluegrass music, camping, and spending time with family.

Besides his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his daughter Pamela Bode, son-in-law Dennie Evans III, and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Cathy A. (Patton) Thompson; children Juanita (Travis) Strawser, April M. Evans, Bradley Thompson; grandchildren John, Destiny, Michael, Levi, Caiden, Nevaeh, Lileane, Einsley, Nicholas, Travis Jr., Tre, Tristan; great grandchildren Ben, Majur and Brennly; sister Margaret (Kirby) Moore; brother Lawrence (Tonya) Thompson; numerous nieces and nephews and close friend, Joe Allen Jr.

Visitation with Family will be on Thursday, January 16th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Funeral Service on Friday, January 17th at 11 a.m. by Joe Allen Sr. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
